Reasons WHY WE LOVE (family-friendly) AUSTRIA!

  1.  Vienna, Austria’s capital, is a vibrant city that offers entertainment for all ages. This beautiful city is known for its art, classical music, romance and is also one of the best “quality living” cities in the world!
Here are some of our suggestions on what to do during your stay in Vienna:

    • One of the best ways for first time visitors to explore Vienna, is either on a “Hop on – Hop off” City Bus Tour (which offers 5 Routes and 45 Stops) OR a ride on the Vienna Ring Tram. We can gladly assist you with tickets for both options.
    • As an alternative, we can also offer you a Vienna Pass which will save you a few pennies. This includes free access to over sixty of Vienna’s “must see” landmarks, museums and monuments, “Skip the Line Tickets” and unlimited travel on the city’s Hop-on-Hop-off busses. The Vienna Pass allows you to ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel and enjoy all the breath-taking views. It also includes a 155m lift ride to the top of the Danube Tower for equally spectacular panoramic views. Children aged 0 – 6 will enjoy free admission to the all-inclusive offers when accompanied by an adult with a Vienna Pass (excluding the Travelcard). What a great advantage!
    • For guaranteed family fun, join a “Time Travel Vienna History Tour” as it promises to be the most entertaining history lesson your kids will ever experience! Included is a kaleidoscope of 5D cinema, imperial theatre, waltzing and rides. Please contact us for more information. All ages are welcome, but this exciting experience will be ideal for kids aged 5 and up. There is however free admission for kids aged 0 – 4.
    • Take part in a healthy and fun City Bike Tour for Teens and Adults: Vienna is rather flat with many parks and an extensive network of cycle lanes. You will be accompanied by an expert guide who will share plenty of first-hand knowledge as you visit some of Vienna’s top tourist attractions.
  2. For a completely different Austrian experience, head to the Alps during winter for a fun-packed ski holiday. Skiing in Austria is certainly one of the best family friendly holidays. All ski resorts have well experienced instructors who teach adults and kids of all ages. You can enjoy a variety of skiing activities including sleigh riding, taboggans, bum boards, building snowmen and of course the occasional snowball fight. Most ski resorts have the option of all-inclusive packages. Austria will win any parent’s heart with ample babysitting services and lots of fun activities for the kids. The best time to plan your ski holiday is between December and March, as most mountains and slopes are covered with snow during this time.
  3. You cannot visit Austria without spending time in the classic baroque city, Salzburg! This beautiful city (with surrounding mountains) has so much to offer and especially famous for the filming of the 1964 classic “The Sound of Music”! When we plan your holiday to Salzburg, we will include the “One and Only Sound of Music Tour” for you. You will visit all the main filming locations in Salzburg and surrounding countryside areas. Truly amazing! Other suggestions when visiting Salzburg:
    • We can include the “Salzburg Card” in your package. This will provide you with free access to public transport, discounts on concerts and day trips. It will also include free admission to Salzburg’s top Museums, including the Bible World Museum, and other places of interest such as the Untersberg Cableway, Salzach ship service, Mozart’s Residence, the Salzburg Zoo & Toy Museum! There is so much more, so please contact us for more info.
    • We also offer ticket purchases for the Hop-on-Hop-off Salzburg City Tour. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with this unique and classic city! For our more energetic clients, we can gladly offer a stunning “Salzburg Walking City Tour”
  4. The Travel Boutique is also the number one “Go To” Holiday Planning Company when you would like to book an Austrian Countryside Cycle Tour! The tours are unescorted, but you will be supplied with detailed maps and as well as a helpline telephone number. Your luggage will be transported from one place to the next.
